Aims and activities of the organisation
Urgench State University named after Al-Khorezmi (UrSU) was founded by the decree #356 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on February 28th in 1992 on the base of Khorezm Pedagogical State Institute. The university currently offers 44 Bachelor degrees, 12 Master degrees and 13 PhD programs on different fields of study. Twenty-five (25) teachers obtained their PhD degrees in Europe. The total number of students is 6,828, ninety-four (94) of which are foreign. There are 450 teachers-professors work at 9 faculties. The university has 7 main buildings, 4 student's dormitories, 2 informational resource centers, many sport clubs and other opportunities for student's entertainments. Read more

He is a participant of CIBELES 511172- TEMPUS-1-2010-1-DE-TEMPUS-JPCR project “Curriculum Invoking Bologna-aligned Education Leading to reform in Environmental Studies”, and a local coordinator of EM ARCADE project at UrSU.
