March 20th, Online Meeting Minutes

The meeting attended Eugenia Díaz from UDC, Belinda Maia from Porto, Zygmunt Vetulani & Marek Kubis from AMU, Gayrat Urazboev; Umid Karimov; Aygul Babadjanova & Gayrat Matlatipov from UrSU, Tozagul Nasrullaeva; Sevara Bekniyazova; Dmitriy Kiselyov & Zafarjon Ashurov from SamSIFL, Nilufar Abdurahmanova from TSUULL, Mirsaid Aripov, Sanat Matlatipov from NUUz and Olga Bizhanova & Saule Zhabayeva from KSU.

The online discussion was led by Gayrat Urazboev from UrSU

The following issues were discussed:

  1. Development of syllabuses: what have been done and what should be done

KSU (SauleZhabayeva)provided a short info about the development of syllabuses and their reviews. They shared power point presentation to all the participants. Then there were given suggestions and comments by the Prof. ZygmuntVetulani and other participants.

Recommendation:The syllabuses that are not reviewed yet by the responsible universities, should be reviewed as soon as possible.

  1. Training in AMU – Professor Z.Vetulani

Prof. ZygmuntVetulani provided detailed information about the dates that is planned to take part in AMU. Also he explained how the training process is going to take part. The invitations will be developed within 2 weeks.

Recommendation: Each partner has to provide the exact info about the participants list with passport copies.

  1. Reporting on instructing CA academic staff in syntactic, morphological and semantic structure of the English language – each CA partner

Urgench State University, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, Tashkent State University of Uzbek language and literature named after AlisherNavoiy, National University of Uzbekistanand A.BaitursynovKostanay State University provided information about the instructing the CA academic staff in syntactic, morphological and semantic structure of the English language based on the obtained knowledge and experience hold in UDC last year.The UDC will develop an evaluation technique of the trainees of the CA academic staff in syntactic, morphological and semantic structure of the English language.

Recommendation: Each CA partner has to provide the exact info about the participants list of the re-training in their home university and upload the relevant documentation to the cloud server of the CLASS project.

  1. Dissemination reports – each CA partner

All the CA participants are agreed to send the dissemination reports that they have prepared to the consideration of NUUz and KazNU. Based on the project proposal, NUUz and KazNU realize the Establishment of dissemination plan and define sustainability aspects based on the project proposal.

  1. Conclusion -USC

As USC could not attend to the online meeting of the project beacause of the technical problems, all the participants agreed that the foreseen problems/activities in the agenda have been discussed during the meeting.
